ShiftNook is provided by Alamo Wang. This policy covers the app, this website, and support requests. Contact alamo.support@icloud.com with privacy questions.
Your schedules, shift definitions, personal plans, work and break records, optional pay details, notes, and preparation lists are stored on your device. Local planning does not require a ShiftNook account. We do not operate an app server that receives your schedule database, and we do not sell your personal information.
iCloud and sharing
If you choose to connect iCloud, structured records synchronize through Apple’s CloudKit using your Apple account. Private records are held in your account’s private CloudKit database. The developer does not receive your Apple password or a readable copy of that private database. Apple handles its services under its own privacy policy and terms.
A read-only invitation creates a separate projection of the checked work dates you choose, with shift labels or times. It excludes pay rates, personal plans, private notes, actual work records, preparation lists, and original images. Sharing is not public by default. Manage invitations and revocation through the app and Apple’s sharing controls. Revoking access cannot recall a file or screenshot someone has already saved.
Images and text
When you select a roster image, recognition runs on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. This image-input flow does not send the original image to us. Text assistance uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models when available; this version has no cloud language-model fallback. Review dates, shift codes, and times before applying an imported draft.
Devices and permissions
Widgets, shortcuts, controls, and Live Activities use information needed for the feature you enable. The Apple Watch companion receives a limited snapshot of your own schedules, preparation items, and work state through Apple’s device services. That snapshot excludes pay details, private notes, other people’s schedules, and original images. Supported Watch commands are processed through the paired phone. Information may appear on a Home Screen, Lock Screen, or watch face according to your settings.
Notifications and alarms require the relevant system permission. Photo selection uses the system picker, which supplies the images you choose rather than unrestricted access to your photo library. ShiftNook does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, or health records.
Diagnostics and tracking
Version 1 has no advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDK. Optional action statistics are off by default. If enabled, action type, success or failure, counts, elapsed time, sample-mode status, and time are stored only on your device. These statistics exclude schedule text, account identifiers, photos, and invitation URLs. They are excluded from app backups and can be deleted in Settings > Privacy & support.
Apple may separately collect information under your device and service settings.
Files and support
Exports and full backups are copies under your control. A full backup may contain private records and pay information. Check files before sharing and protect their storage location. A service or person you send a file to handles that copy under their own practices.
If you email alamo.support@icloud.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and resolve the request, retain it only as needed for support and applicable obligations, and do not use it for advertising. Please use fictional examples when possible and avoid sending private rosters or invitation links unless needed. Email providers process messages as part of delivering and storing email.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit or delete records with the app’s controls, manage iCloud and invitations, revoke system permissions, delete local diagnostic statistics, and remove exported files from their storage locations. Removing the app does not recall shared or exported copies or automatically erase every iCloud or device-backup copy. Manage cloud storage and backups through Apple’s settings as applicable.
Contact alamo.support@icloud.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support. We cannot access another person’s independent copies. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional privacy rights.
This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. It has no developer-added analytics, advertising scripts, external fonts, embedded media, or contact form. The support buttons open your email app; the copy button copies the displayed address locally.
To deliver and protect the website, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, request details, and security or service logs, and may use security-related cookies where needed. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This website policy does not describe Cloudflare’s separate account services.
Children and policy changes
ShiftNook is a general-purpose scheduling utility and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information in a support request.
